Women's Soccer: Eagles Announce 2012 Schedule

Nashua – A six-game home schedule highlights the Daniel Webster College women's soccer program's 13-game 2012 schedule as announced today by the DWC department of athletics.

Head Coach Marco Genee's squad, which will be looking to return to the postseason after a one-year absence, open the season on Wednesday, September 5th at Pine Manor College at 4:00 p.m. and open their home slate on Saturday, September 8th against Maine Maritime Academy at Noon. The Eagles follow by heading to Mitchell College for the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) opener on the 22nd.

The Eagles close the month with home dates against Rivier College (Sept. 26) and NECC foe Wheelock College (Sept. 29).

DWC opens its October schedule on October 3rd at New England College, and plays its final seven games against NECC opponents. The Eagles host Elms College on October 6th, and heads out on the road with stops at Becker College (Oct. 9) and Regis College (Oct. 13), before returning home to face Southern Vermont College (Oct. 16).

After a trip out to Bay Path College (Oct. 20), the Eagles close their home schedule on October 24th against Newbury College, and close their regular season at Lesley University on October 27th.

The seven-team NECC tournament takes place on Tuesday, October 30th with quarterfinal action while the tournament semifinals take place on November 1st. The championship is schedule for November 3rd. All tournament games take place at higher seeds.
