Women's Soccer: Eagles Fall at Southern Vermont, 1-0

Bennington, Vt. - The Daniel Webster women's soccer team dropped a tight, 1-0 decision to host Southern Vermont College in a NECC matchup in raily Bennington, Vt. Saturday afternoon.

SVC (2-6, 1-2 NECC) notched the lone score just 6:54 into the match on Shauna Poole's unassisted tally. From there, both teams posted a defnesive stalemate.

Ema Donlagic managed the Eagles lone shot on net. The Mountaineers finished with a 6-1 shots on goal advantage.

Senior Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass.) made five stops for DWC, while Catrina Cecchini made the lone save for SVC.

The Eagles host New England College on Thursday beginning at 3:30 p.m.
