June 3, 2010 Five Student-Athletes, One Staffer Recenty Honored With College's Distinguished Service Award
Five Daniel Webster College student-athletes along with a student athletics staff member were recently honored in May by the College with the annual Distinguished Service Award (DSA).
The DSA recognizes and honors students who have made a distinguished contribution to campus life during a specific academic year. Nominees are solicited from the entire College community.
May 8, 2010 Athletics: Taylor, Rieger Named Student-Athletes Of Year Headling Annual DWC Awards Night
Seniors Danny Taylor and Kristina Rieger were honored as the male and female student-athletes of the year respectively, headlining the annual Daniel Webster College athletics awards night ceremony on Wednesday, May 5th in the Collings Auditorium on the College campus.
Four student were honored with Athlete of the Year accolades as sophomores Vanessa Bosques and Natalie Bates along with juniors Chris LaPlante and Samson Kiberu were named female and male co-athletes of the year, respectively.
April 28, 2010 Women's Lacrosse: Eagles Heat Up At Right Time, Edge Becker In Season Finale 13-12
On a day when the cold and wet soaked in to every fiber, the Daniel Webster womens lacrosse team turned on the heat when it mattered most. Trailing 9-6 seven minutes into the second half, the Eagles rallied to outscore Becker College 7-3 over the final 22 minutes and escape with a 13-12 thriller over the Hawks in their season finale at a 42-degree, blustery and rainswept Eagle Field Wednesday.

Green Mountain College took a 9-5 halftime lead and posted a 12-8 non-conference victory over Daniel Webster Wednesday afternoon. Natalie Bates notched five goals while Stephanie Zeman chipped in with three.

Sophomore Natalie Bates registered four goals on the way to an 8-7 come-from-behind victory over Anna Maria Monday afternoon in a nonconference matchup played at Eagle Field.
Stephanie Zeman added two goals and one assist as the second-year Eagles improved to 3-6 overall and won their second straight.
April 15, 2010 Women's Lacrosse: Eagles Nab Second Win, Top Blue Jays 14-6
Sophomore Natalie Bates (N. Kingston, R.I.) scored seven goals to lead Daniel Webster to a 14-6 victory in a non-conference lacrosse game Thursday at Saint Joseph College. Bates scored five first-half goals to stake the Eagles to a 7-2 halftime advantage.
