Women's Ice Hockey: Eagles Close Season With Loss At Becker

Marlboro, Mass. –  Freshman forward Gina Beth Manganiello (Peabody, Mass.) posted her second hat trick in as many nights to lead Becker to a 10-1 win over Daniel Webster on Saturday at the New England Sports Center. The Hawks improve to 5-19 overall (5-9 Colonial),  while the Eagles finish the 2015-2016 campaign at 0-18 (0-14 CHC).

Six different Hawks were able to find the back of the net.  Manganiello finished with three goals and two assists while freshman Michaela Martin (Sheldon, Vt.) tallied two goals and two assists. Freshman Bailey Coons (Casper, Wyo.) added two goals and an assist.

Freshman Stephanie Evans (Washington, Iowa) scored her fourth goal of the season for Daniel Webster at the 7:29 mark of the second period to avert the shutout.

Hawks netminder Julia Johnson (Littleton, Colo.) turned back 11 shots for her first collegiate victory while her counterpart Madison Wood (Suwanee, Ga.) posted 22 saves in the loss.
