Athletics: Waller, Adinolfo Named Student-Athletes Of Year Headlining DWC Annual Awards Night
Senior Amy Waller of Berlin, Mass. (Tahanto HS) and sophomore Josh Adinolfo of Manchester, N.H. (Governor Dummer Academy) were recently honored as the male and female Student-Athletes of the Year respectively, headlining the annual Daniel Webster College Athletics Awards Night ceremony on Thursday, May 3rd in the Collings Auditorium on the College campus.

Men's Volleyball: Walz, Hendrix Named First Team All Conference
A pair of Daniel Webster College men’s volleyball players have earned first team all-conference honors from the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC). Sophomore Joe Walz of East Longmeadow, Mass. and freshman Joe Hendrix of Kane’ohe, Hawaii were named the first team as selected by the conference coaches and announced late Monday by the league office.

Men's Volleyball: Eagles Season Lives On With Berth In ECAC Tournament
The best season in Daniel Webster men’s volleyball history will play at least one more match and hopefully two. The Eagles have earned the fourth seed in the one-day ECAC Division III New England Men’s Volleyball Championship Tournament and will face Ramapo (N.J.) in a semifinal of the four-team tourney this coming weekend at second-seed and tournament host Endicott College in Beverly, Mass.

Men's Volleyball: The NECC Semifinals: Endicott Sweeps Eagles In NECC Tourney
The top-seeded Endicott men’s volleyball team posted a 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-14) win over #4 Daniel Webster in the NECC Semifinals Friday night. Daniel Webster (14-7) ended their record-setting season behind a 13-kill, seven-dig effort by sophomore outside hitter Joe Walz (East Longmeadow, Mass.) and another 11 kills from freshman middle Joel Hendrix (Keneohe, Hawaii).

Men's Volleyball: Hendrix Picks Up Fourth NECC "Rookie The Of Week" Award
For the fourth time this season, Daniel Webster College men’s volleyball player Joel Hendrix of Kane’ohe, Hawaii has been named the NECC “Rookie of the Week,” announced Monday by the conference office. Hendrix, a freshman middle blocker, averaged 3.4 kills per set with a .301 hitting percentage last week.

Men's Volleyball: Eagle Fall At Elms, Face Endicott In NECC Tourney Friday
Elms College pinned a 3-1 loss on Daniel Webster in the regulat season finale for both clubs Saturday. Joe Hendrix and Joe Walz were stellar in defeat for the Eagles, notching a match-high 17 and 14 kills respectively, while Hendrix and Chris Shannon secured a team-best seven digs each in the losing effort.

Men's Volleyball: Eagles Breeze Past Lesley In Home Finale, 3-0
Senior Chris Shannon registered a match-high 11 kills along with four aces and four digs and fellow senior David Miller added six kills, two aces and three digs as host Daniel Webster posted a 3-0 sweep of Lesley University as part of senior night activities in a New England Collegiate Conference matchup at Mario Vagge Gymnasium.

Sophomore Joe Walz knocked down a season-high 26 kills and senior Eric Smith racked up a career-high and program match record 50 assists, adding 16 digs and four kills as host Daniel Webster stormed back from a 2-0 deficit to stun Emerson College, 3-2 in a wild northeast regional matchup Monday night at Mario Vagge Gymnasium.

Men's Volleyball: Walz Picks Up Second NECC "Player of Week" Award Of Season
For the second time this season, Daniel Webster College men’s volleyball player Joe Walz of East Longmeadow, Mass. has been named the New England Collegiate Conference “Player of the Week.” Walz, a sophomore outside hitter, averaged 4.5 kills per set, 2.67 digs, hit .203 overall (27k, 14e, 64att), and added four service aces and five total blocks in a pair of DWC victories over NECC competition last week.

Men's Volleyball: Eagles Roll Lucky Seven, Finally Solve Nighthawks With Sweep
It's now seven wins and counting for the streaking DWC men's volleyball team, who exorcised a huge demon Saturday, sweeping nemesis Newbury College for their first victory ever over the Nighthawks in another key NECC matchup Saturday afternoon. DWC has now won 11 of their last 12 with the 25-21, 26-24, 25-11 victory.

Men's Volleyball: Eagles Stay Hot, Top SUNYIT, Lasell To Finish 4-0 On Weekend
After posting a pair of opening night victories on Friday, the Daniel Webster men’s volleyball team followed that momentum with two more victories over SUNY IT and Lasell to finish 4-0 at the Johnson & Wales Invitational Saturday at the Harborside RAC Center. DWC continued to stay hot with the wins, capturing their fourth and fifth straight match and are now 9-1 since a 0-3 start to the season.

The duo of senior Chris Shannon and sophomore Joe Walz combined for 20 kills and 17 digs guiding host Daniel Webster past Lasell, 3-0 in men’s volleyball regional action Tuesday night at Mario Vagge Gymnasium. It marked the first win for the Eagles against the Lasers dating back three seasons and the first sets DWC had ever taken against Lasell.

Hendrix, a middle blocker, enjoyed a strong beginning to his collegiate career last week, averaging 2.80 kills and 2.10 digs per set.
