Men's Soccer: Eight-Game Home Slate Highlights 2012 Schedule
Nashua, NH – An eight-game home slate highlights the Daniel Webster College men's soccer program's 18-game 2012 schedule as announced today by the DWC department of athletics.

The Eagles come off a 9-6-2 record last season which included a 5-1-1 mark in NECC regular season play. The squad finished second in the NECC regular season standings and bowed in the semifinals of the NECC championship tournament.
Second-year Head Coach Matt Correia's club will be looking to return to the winners' circle, having captured the NECC tournament championship in 2010 and 2011. DWC, which will be looking to extend its streak of winning seasons to five straight, has posted a combined overall record of 33-18-4 (.636) over the past three years including a 16-4-1 (.785) mark in NECC regular season play.
The Eagles open the season with two home contests including their season opener on Saturday, September 1st against Emmanuel College at Noon, followed by a visit from Gordon College on September 4th.
DWC heads out on the road for their next four with stops at New England College (Sept. 6), UMass-Dartmouth (Sept. 8), Emerson College (Sept. 12), and Colby-Sawyer College (Sept. 15) and returns home on September 18th to face longtime intracity rival Rivier College at 4:00 p.m.
The Eagles close their September slate with their NECC opener at Mitchell on September 22nd, visit Nichols College on September 26th and host Southern Vermont College in a NECC tilt on September 29th.
DWC opens its October schedule with road contests at Plymouth State University (Oct. 3) and NECC foe Becker College (Oct. 6) before playing four of their final six at home. Regis College visits for a NECC matchup on October 10th, DWC heads to Lesley University for a NECC match on October 13th, Wheelock College visits Eagle Field for a NECC match on the 16th, Fitchburg State University comes to town on the 18th, and DWC closes its road schedule at Newbury College in a NECC tilt on October 24th.
The Eagles close their regular season slate on October 27th hosting Elms College in their NECC finale as part of annual senior day activities.
The NECC quarterfinals take place on Wednesday, October 31st while the semifinals are slated for November 2nd. The championship is scheduled for Sunday, November 4th. All tournament games take place at higher seeds.
