Nashua – Jared Harrington (Upper Marlboro, Md.) led five players in double figures with a game-high 22 points as host Daniel Webster held off Becker, 87-83 in a NECC meeting Thursday night.
Antwaun Boyd (Stamford, Conn.) added 20 points with seven assists for DWC, Angelo Adon (Silver Spring, Md.) posted 17 points off the bench, Ray Farmer (Nashua) netted 14 points and eight rebounds, and Marquise Caudill (Windsor, Conn.) chipped in with 10 points and eight caroms.
Becker also saw five players reach double figures, led by a 21-point outing from Kyle Credle (Queens, N.Y.), who added five assists. Sam Duradola (Rosedale, N.Y.) posted 17 points, Kareem Davis (Lowell, Mass.) notched 15 with five helpers, Antonio White, Jr. (Middletown, Conn.) scored 14 with eight boards and Donzell Cunningham (Linden, N.J.) chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.
The Eagles close out the regular season Saturday against Southern Vermont at 1:00 p.m. Becker hosts Mitchell on Saturday in their regular season finale at 3:00 p.m.
DWC used a strong first half to build a 20-point lead at the break (47-27) and withstood a Becker charge in the second half as the Hawks outscored the Eagles 56-40 and pulled within two in the closing seconds.
DWC led by 10 (83-73) with 1:23 remaining, but Becker put together a 7-0 run over the next 45 seconds to shave the lead to three (83-80) with 38 seconds to go.
After Harrington sank a pair at the line with 19 second to go, White nailed a three for Becker to make it 85-83 Eagles with seven ticks on the clock.
Adon then hit two at the line with five seconds left to ice it.
