    The second to final all-time meeting between Daniel Webster and Rivier in athletic competition was a memorable one Monday afternoon, decided in the top of the ninth with Rivier stranding the tying run at third as the Eagles escaped with a 10-9 victory at Harvey Woods Field.

    Host Daniel Webster gave itself a pair of back-to-back shots in the arm using a pair of late rallies to post two come-from behind victories, 3-2 and 6-5 over Newbury in a NECC doubleheader Saturday at Harvey Woods Field.

    Newbury posted an 8-4 victory over the Daniel Webster Eagles on Friday afternoon at the New England Baseball Complex in New England Collegiate Conference play. Eagles junior Mike Pelletier (Pelham, N.H.) batted 2-for-4 including an RBI double in the sixth.

    Host Daniel Webster fell behind 5-1 entering the ninth inning and scratched for a pair of runs in that final frame, but the Chargers held on for a 5-3 victory in the final meeting of the intrastate programs Thursday at Harvey Woods Field. Dakota Williams (Hudson, N.H.) and Dan Mullins (Nashua) posted a pair of hits and knocked in a run apiece for the Eagles.

    Thursday's Eagle baseball contest against Colby-Sawyer has been moved to Harvey Woods Field on the Daniel Webster campus. Colby-Sawyer will remain as the "home" team for the contest.
  • Baseball: Eagles Use Five-Run Rally In Sixth To Trim UMF, 8-7
    April 11, 2017
    Host Daniel Webster fell into a 7-1 hole after just two innings but chipped away to close the gap to 7-3 and then plated five runs in the sixth going on to top Maine-Farmington, 8-7 in their true home opener Tuesday at Harvey Woods Field. Dakota Williams (Hudson, N.H.) delivered the biggest hit of the day - a two-run single that capped the five-run rally - and ultimately gave himself the win (1-0) on the mound as he was the pitcher of record with three middle innings of relief covering the fourth fifth and sixth.

    The Mitchell College baseball team posted a 21-3 victory over Daniel Webster College on Sunday afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference action at Alumni Field. The Eagles will host Maine-Farmington in a newly added home contest on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
  • Athletics: Weekend Schedule Changes Announced

    Saturday's (April 8) schedule has been announced with a number of changes. Baseball is now postponed against Mitchell (home) while Sunday's road game will be played as scheduled. Softball will now host Elms at 2:00 p.m. although Elms will bat as the "home" team. Men's Lacrosse will face Mitchell at 4:00 p.m. at the SNHU turf field in Hooksett, N.H. while the women will follow against Becker at 6:00 p.m. as part of a doubleheader.
  • Baseball: Daulton Named NECC Rookie Of The Week

    Daniel Webster baseball player Matt Daulton of West Babylon, N.Y. (W. Babylon) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) "Rookie of the Week," as announced Monday by the conference office. Daulton, a designated hitter and pitcher, hit .444 (12-27) with a slugging percentage of .630 over eight games last week as the Eagles opened their final season in Florida.
  • Baseball: Eagles Rack Up 13 Hits But Fall To Roger WIlliams

    Daniel Webster racked up 13 hits but managed just two runs to show for that work in dropping a 12-2 loss to Roger Williams in game three and day two of the Eagles eight-game season-opening trip in Florida Tuesday at Lake Myrtle Park. Radolfo Acosta went three for three with a steal to lead DWC.

    Matt Dietrich (Nashua, N.H.) allowed two earned runs on five hits over five innings and Mike Pelletier (Pelham, N.H.) was 2 for 3 knocking in a run as Daniel Webster opened its final season with a 4-2 victory over Mount St. Joseph, as part of a doubleheader split Sunday at Pat Thomas Stadium, the first of an eight-game trip in the Sunshine State.
  • Baseball: 11 Home Dates Highlight Eagles 2017 Schedule

    11 home dates highlight a 31-game Daniel Webster 2017 baseball schedule, announced today by the department of athletics. The Eagles play their final season as a program and will open once again in the Sunshine State with eight games.
